Creation, particularly of things that have brought beauty and joy to other people has been my métier throughout the years. Creation is my purpose for Being.

I come to this space with curiosity. I am drawn to the study of the art of fragrance expression with the idea of ‘smelling good to feel good’ as a very human quality. Perfumes’ power to transport, recall memory, enhance mood and affect emotion is an experience that ever fascinates me.
Equally intriguing is the power that modern perfumery has had on social behavior, specifically, using fragrance as a self-expressive dynamic tool to position oneself in society.

As this amazing world ever evolves and changes, so to is the world of perfumery, which is expanding in unprecedented, magnificent ways. Notably is the move towards diversity and inclusion, with Artisan perfumers like myself leading the way in breaking down traditional ‘establishment’ barriers of creation. The steady dissipation of gender concepts in fragrance are also unprecedented, reflecting the collective consciousness of a generation.
The studioScent Premiere Collection was created with everyone in mind, regardless of gender, orientation or identity and whether not one is a casual perfume user or a knowledgeable and passionate collector. Our first collection has been several years in the making, and is a wonderful introduction to the ever expanding world of Artisan Fragrance, and I dare say, my own creative life as well. My intention is, as it always has been, to bring Beauty and joy to people, this time through fragrance expression.
Perfumery is among many Beautiful Things that make us Human. I hope you will enjoy our collection.
